Located close to Pegasus Bridge, the Pegasus Memorial Museum helps you retrace the arrival on Norman soil of the very first liberators on the night of the 5th to the 6th of June 1944. There is an excellent selection of period documents and objects inside the museum and the outside area includes the original canal bridge, a replica Horsa Glider, a section of a Bailey Bridge, artillery pieces, memorials to members of 6th Airborne and much more.
